Laser Sculpture with Frazetta’s “The Mammoth” (1974) printed on bamboo
If any one person pushed Frazetta’s work to the top, it was the novelist Edgar Rice Burroughs (1875-1950). Besides covers for Burroughs’ “Tarzan” and “John Carter” series, Frazetta also handled artwork for the lesser-known “Pellucidar” works. A world existing inside the inner shell of Earth’s crust, Pellucidar hosts malevolent reptile rulers, human slaves and myriad fierce animals … including this prehistoric tusked titan. Don’t even think about tickling its ivories!
About This Sculpture
Licensed by the Frank Frazetta estate, our Laser Sculptures feature his most popular images printed on a coated bamboo plate. Attached to a powder-coated metal backer, they can be displayed hung on a wall (through a hook-accommodating slot) or flat on a surface (with rubber feet as protection). Elegant and durable, our Laser Sculptures offer a long-lasting addition to your fantasy art collection.
