Swing? So-so. The Charleston? Only at speakeasies. New Wave and breakdancing? Herky-jerky. Mosh pits? Please. If you're looking for a dance craze that perfectly reflected its time -- and was just all-out fun! -- nothing will ever top disco of the 1970s. Famed Archie artist Dan Parent revives the time when people escaped the decade's brutal landscape on the dance floor with this disco-themed Laser Cel™.

Though he didn't appear in the Archie universe until 2010, Kevin Keller would've fit perfectly in that outta-sight era, and Parent wisely gives him the spotlight ("projection light"?) in this 8" x 10" Cel. He looks groovy, man, in a classic white leisure suit and black tab-collar shirt, and dig those feathered 'dos and threads cool chicks Veronica and Betty crack. And what disco would be complete without a jive disco ball and getting down with the raised arm dance pose? With this Cel, you'll get the wings of heaven on your shoes, for you're a dancin' man (or woman) and you just can't lose!

What is a Laser Cel?

Laser Cels are a lithograph technology where the image is actually printed on industrial grade Mylar. Unlike traditional animation cels and paper; Mylar will not fade, chip, crack or deteriorate. Additionally, this synthetic is immune to heat, light and moisture. However, similar to its counterparts, images printed using this process still retain the same high quality and brilliant colors found in any animated cel. To complete the presentation and further define each piece as collectible, the Laser Cel prints will each be mounted in a complimentary matt. Some pieces will then have a uniquely numbered laser etched medallion, embedded within the frame itself. The result is a limited edition, pre-matted print that excels in beauty and quality.
