Edward Gorey : Amimal Rescue League Laser Cel

This Laser Cel was created as the official invitation to The Animal Rescue League of Boston’s Moonlight Ball, which was held on October 20, 2007.  The proceeds from the charity event provided funding for the ARL’s spay/neuter program for those in financial need, mobile adoptions, and transport program for homebound individuals and their pets.

The artwork is taken from the slipcase cover of Edward Gorey’s long-out-of-print 1963 book The Vinegar Works: Three Volumes of Moral Instruction (which included the beloved The Gashleycrumb Tinies).
